This past October, photographer Michael Weintrob had the opportunity to venture deep into the culture of Peru, with his camera and designer, Nicole Linton. As the founder of the art collaborative, è bella, Nicole creates high-end hand crafted rugs, pillows, wall hangings, personal accessories and clothing while supporting Quechua communities in the high Andes of Peru.

The philosophy of é bella combines creativity and innovation to promote a more peaceful and socially responsible world.

Since 1999, è bella has become a bridge between cultures, an alternative to labor intensive factories, and a provider of sustainable incomes for artisan families and their communities.

The finished products are collaborations from diverse cultural backgrounds, uniting them through the language of art.
