Yael grew up in Marin County, California and has been traveling the world since the age of five. With much of her family being professional musicians and performers, she's been steeped in the culture of music. This love for music is the inspiration for her photography. Traveling to music festivals, concerts and performances provides Yael with the subjects she loves to shoot. Among them, uninhibited characters whose passion and spirit are undeniable. Yael is here to document authenticity and emotion which she encounters along the way.

Yael's clients include AOL Music, Redhook Beer, Surface Design Journal, Karma Magazine. Yael is also an official photographer for the High Sierra Music Festival.
